I've always done crafts of somekind. I grew up in a house full of crafters. My mom and two older sisters always were making something. But I got into paper crafts a little over 11 years ago when my son was born. I wanted to keep a baby book for him but didn't want to keep the normal baby book. So I got into scrapbooking. A few years ago I needed a card for a friends birthday but had no extra money to go purchase one. So I took some of my scrapbooking supplies and made her a card. And needless to say I got hooked and have been making cards ever since. I started doing altered items about a year and a half ago.

I got into card making about 4 years ago, but then starting making babies instead. LOL Then got back into it about a year ago and realized all the different new card companies that were around and have been hooked ever since. I love all the embellishments, textures and designers out there. It's just fun. Now that my oldest is 4, she's even getting into making cards. It's cute!

I used to do crafts as a kid, then kind of got out of them and so did my mom. Work, boys, college all took over. Now I'm married and settled. I started working part-time at the beginning of the year and wanted to get back into making beautiful things for people. Keeps me out of trouble too! LOL!
I still don't have a ton of time to dedicate to crafting (we are also building a new house and I also do photography) but I do get some done and love it!

Here is my blog!

Thanks for offering some candy too!

thanks for the chance! I have always been doing some sort of crafts but I really got into scrapbooking after the birth of my son. I want to save all the little memories so he will always know what we did and how we felt! One day he will want to know! I started making cards about two years ago because I needed a last minute card and didn't have the time to get to the store!

Hi
Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog. I got into card making just over 2 years ago when I went into early labour with my 2nd child and was ordered a months bed rest in hospital. My husband brought me a quilling kit to keep me occupied and the rest is history. Cathy (Ellie's keeper a very close friend ) got me into stamping.

I have wanted to do cards for a long time and tried the first time when my son was born and I made "thank you" cards for the cristening. So that is for 6 years ago. Then a few years later, I made christmas cards and now 2 years ago I went to a course in scrapbooking and got totally hooked. So now I make LOs and cards as much as I can with my busy life.

I would really like to have a chance to win you blog candy.

Thanks for the chance to win this candy! :D

I've always liked papers - started off by writing letters 20 years ago and got hooked on nice writingpaper.

Then, while I lived in Holland for a year, 9 years ago, I started off with 3D-cards, and other things they made there. Back home I continued making "simple" cards. I started stamping and colouring the images a couple of years ago, 2006/2007, I guess. :)

Now it's perhaps more shopping going on than cardmaking. Weird thing. :P

I first started following your blog when I saw you on CS forum and love visiting it for inspiration - not that I have aspired to your heights yet. I started crafting almost two years ago making ATC's which were atrocious but I like them at the time. Since then I have been playing around some more - but have a long way to go yet. But it has opened up a whole new world for me, making lots of cyber 'friends', and really has opened my mind and hands to so much, making retired life a joy.

Thank you for the chance of winning your wonderful work - the card is amazing.

I started crafting when my daughter after a trip to Yandles in Martock bought home some patterned papers and pinched a couple bits and thought I'll have a go at making some cards it can't be that hard? It wasn't (even though I cringe when I look at some of early efforts!) I've been hooked ever since and now about 6 or 7 years later my whole spare baedroom is now a crafting space, my little bit of heaven.

Here's my blog

Thanks for the chance to win some goodies.

My Mum got me into crafting from a very young age, knitting sewing, you name it, we did it! As I got older, we attended craft fairs selling various crafts, but now my Mum has arthritis in her hands and does less crafting which is sad. I look to my blog friends for company and to share craft ideas more now, as Mum does not participate so much. Judith x

Great candy! Here's my link . I started scrapbooking because I wanted to do something special with my pictures from a special vacation in Uganda. I enjoy it because while scrapbooking it's like you're on vacation a second time and it's more inviting to grab your photobook afterwards. Two years ago I also started cardmaking 'cause it's nicer to give something personal to friends and family and most of them appreciate it. Thanks for a chance to win! When I started getting into geneology I started recieving family momentos from my Grandparents. What would be better than putting these into books for future generations?

Now I scrapbook to keep me sane AND for my great great great great (and so on) Grandbabies. I scrapbook so 100 years from now, my future ancestors will get a chance to know me and my life. A huge driving force for me too is my kids. Growing up you don't remember everything and it's a shame. My family has had wonderful memories and I want my children to know that and to see those moments.

I became a Rubber Stamo and paper crafter about 16 years ago when I got pregnant with my daughter. I was taken out of work and had no idea what to do with my time. I got into stamping and pretty soon I had tons of stamps and I was mailing and receiving cards from all over the world! Back then there was no internet, just paper! LOL! I kinda got out of it because I was so bust working trying to raise my kids. I was put on disability for an injury and again, ???? what to do! I said I know! Sooooooooo I went out to the storage and pulled out all of my stamps and supplies and boom here I am again. Only this time there are blogs and wonderful groups to play with! Supplies and stamping has definatly changed, but its all still super fun!!

Happy Creating!
