Non Tradish Christmas Sugar!

I finally got around to getting sticky again in
and this time the fabulous Marlene provided the sketch
with the added prompt to use 'Zig Zags'
Again i've used the ever so lovely sugar nellie 'Peace Angel' by Diane Duda coloured with my lyra crayons and a water brush.
The papers are a mix of BG and CC with an embossed snowflake panel and some corrugated card.. all of which i distressed the edges and inked with aged mahogany DI.
This also fits in with
Papertake Weekly 'Christmas Crackers'
Creative Card Crew 'Favourite Things'
{my sugar nellie stamps}
Allsorts 'Christmas carol or song title'
{Angels from the realms of glory!}
Thanks for looking

Truly Scrumptious #4

They've gone Flower Power mad over at truly scrumptious
That's the theme this time round, along with a fab sketch provided by Mina.

And here is my creation

***
I used my nesties for the circles, one in textured card and the other in felt, the background paper is one from the BG "stella ruby" pad, and the flowers are Prima, centered with some funky fibre.

I coloured young miss Anya with my Lyra crayons, i'm slowly getting to grips with shading, but still i missed her face, so she looks a bit pale, i'll get there one day i'm sure!
Thanks for dropping by, feel free to leave a comment, it really makes my day x

Sketch Saturday #45

Over on Sketch Saturday it's Tracie at the helm and today's sketch looks like this..

I decided to turn the sketch 90* to fit an already coloured Miss Anya image i had done using lyra crayons.. i'm still very much on a learning curve with my colouring so forgive the lack of depth and tone. Practice makes perfect....right!
..

I have used 4 of the basic grey "blush" papers, some of which were stitched using a hand held machine {again still learning, hence the wonkyness lol} and the rest were rough edged using a craft knife.

I finished off with prima flowers, an assortment of brads, and piece of gorgeous lace.
I hope this ticks all the boxes for this challenge, i had real fun putting it all together.
