Time is certainly slipping away fast so i decided to crack on and get yet another christmas card out the way.. i hadn't had a chance to ink all my new mangas so this adorable Mistletoe kiss was just begging to be used.
Oh how very exciting... Finally this weekend sees The Artistic Stamper launch a brand new set of 6 fab stamps ...With more designs to follow in the upcoming months by the much loved children's artist
For those of you who have not heard of her, she was a well known illustrator of books and postcards and became a household name during the 1930’s and 40’s with her illustrations of pudgy and appealing toddlers. I personally can remember having the books as a child, so to get a chance to be one of the first to play with these stamps was a real joy. Although keeping the secret about them till now was a challenge lol. The stamps are available to buy HERE or if your going along to Ally Pally this weekend you can get them from Jennie @ The Stamp Connection stand
My friend Claire has been having some mojo problems lately so we decided on saturday night we would make a card together via IM chat.... the webcams wouldn't work but we wern't gonna let that stop us.
We picked this fab Sketch Saturday sketch #69
and used this weeks Allsorts challenge #19 which is 'Snowflakes in September' for our theme.
Just in time to add my entry for the sketch challenge over at Allsorts
with the added prompt of using a 2 colour combo of your choice.. i went for Red and Green as still trying to get ahead with the xmas cards!!
